We are a friendly, welcoming church! We are Pentecostal, so we don’t always stick to a rigid schedule, but on average our services last about 90 minutes. Every Thursday and Sunday night we gather together for a time of worship, followed by a Biblical, thought-provoking sermon, and a time of prayer at the altar. We have a mix of traditional hymns, modern worship choruses, and gospel songs throughout the service.
Sunday Mornings have a slightly different schedule. We meet in the sanctuary at 10am for a few songs. We then have Sunday School for children and adults. We have ushers to guide parents and children to their age-specific classes, and after class, teachers will bring children back to parents in the sanctuary at 11am. This is when we will start the main service which follows roughly the same schedule as the rest of our services. We also have Children’s Church for ages 3-10 during the sermon on Sunday morning. As always, ushers are present in case of questions or children needing directions.
There are varying levels of attire ranging from "casual" to "business formal." However, we want you to feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!
We know that going to a new church and meeting new people can be a bit intimidating, but we will do our best to make your visit here at BHC a great experience. We can't wait to meet you!
